He, along with his brothers, William and Ed, petitioned for the incorporation of South Euclid in 19172. Henry, Louise, and Johanna all share the same tombstone. Louise is listed simply as wife and Johanna is listed as wife and mother. This statement is intriguing as Henry and Johanna do not have any known children.

NOTES: Fred is an attorney (Juris Doctor). He was Director of Labor Relations for the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company until retirement in October, 1983. He also was President of the West Geauga School Board for 21 years. Fred went to a German school as a youngster and spoke German until third grade. He taught high school mathematics prior to entering the Army Air Corps during WWII. He served as a commissioned officer toward the end of the war. Current address, 8110 Chagrin Mills Rd., Chagrin Falls, Ohio, 44022. Fred and Dorothy's life project was building this house literally from the ground up. As a result, Fred is a carpenter, electrician, plumber, and stone mason; to name a few. Dorothy was a direct descendent of Richard Bourne of Devonshire County, England who immigrated to the Plymouth Colony between 1625 and 1630. He was a missionary to the Mashpee Indians and also the friend of Rev. John Cotton and William Bradford. He died in 1682 in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Her parents were Richard Mason Bourne and Dorothy Barker. The Bourne and Barker genealogies have been done and there are at least two books published on the Bourne family. Dorothy was an artist and had a degree in interior design. She died from complications of severe diabetes.

Presently a professional educator at the post-secondary level, teaching computer hardware, software, and networking. Current address, 2931 Burnt Oak, San Antonio, Texas, 78232. Liz's father and mother Benjamin Tubig and Leoncia Suarez. Liz's father fought with MacArthur at Bataan and Corregidor. He escaped during the infamous death march and fought in the Filipino resistance. He was given U. S. citizenship following the war and served in the U. S. Army until retirement. The family left the Philippines in 1956 when Liz was six years old.
